2011 2012 Season
Wisconsin looks to build on its success of the previous season where they lost in the National Championship game to Big 10 Rival Penn St. With Heisman winner John Clay returning, along with Electrifying RB James White who averaged 10+ yards a carry last year, the Badgers have the best 1,2 punch in the country. Combine that with WR Nick Toon, the Right side plus center returning from last years dominating line, the Badgers will look to have more success than last year on offense. We all know the badgers are going to run the ball, but taking the offense to the next level will be on junior QB Curt Phillips. He is a very athletic qb with a strong arm, but his accuracy is a little lacking and hopefully he can improve on that as the year wears on.
The defense does not look as strong, but does return all 4 starters on the D line. If the back 7 can prove to be capable in being just an above average unit, look for the Badgers to make another run at a National Championship Appearance.
