PSU throws up a stinker in Lawrence
PSU played poorly on both sides of the ball and after taking a 17-14 lead into the half Kansas held strong and pulled out the 28-17 upset over the #7 ranked Nittany Lions. Kevin Newsome threw 3 2nd half INT's and also fumbled on PSU's opening drive of the game resulting in a KU TD. Coach Paterno said after the game that he won't announce a starter for next week's game until he's seen all 3 QB's get reps with the 1st team in practice. "You can't expect to win when your QB turns the ball over 4 times". "We'll practice hard and we'll be ready to play next week" Paterno added. Although Newsome played the entire game you get the feeling Paterno is leaning towards making a change under center.
Great game Hawk, i'll see you in Happy Valley next year. Bring extra diapers cuz it's gonna get messy. lol
