The Seminoles score 21 unanswered to shock the Badgers with a 45-38 come from behind victory.

Madison, WI-- FSU took their show on the road as they did battle with yet another top ranked opponent, the #5 Wisconsin Badgers. Wisconsin won the toss and FSU engineered an 11 play drive that resulted in a 41 yard FG.

The Badgers responded by putting up 7 points in only 7 plays as John Clay rumbled in from 17 yards out to give Wisconsin the early lead and the fans at Camp Randall were riding high.

That's where Heisman Trophy Candidate Bert Reed decided to step in and change the game. Reed scored on 2 TD passes only 1:03 apart to put the Noles up 17-7 and silence the Badger Faithful.

On the ensuing drive Clay got loose again this time scoring from 46 yards out to cut the lead to 3. The teams swapped punts to begin the 2nd quarter and with 5:31 left Badger QB Curt Phillips scrambled in from 11 yards out to give Wisconsin the lead back.

EJ Manuel left with a small injury on FSU's next possession and they were forced to punt for the 3rd time in the quarter, and third time was the charm for James White. FSU out kicked their coverage and White took advantage returning the punt 85 yards to the house on an amazing run.

That put Camp Randall into a frenzy and also put the Badgers up 11. Things looked to be falling apart for the Noles on the road but a huge 76 yard TD run on 3rd down by EJ Manuel kept the Seminoles in the game. Wisconsin would add a FG and the score would be 31-24 Wisconsin at halftime.

The teams traded punts to open the second half before Curt Phillips directed a 9 play drive that resulted in a nice jump ball TD to WR Nick Toon from 5 yards out. That score put Wisconsin up 2 TDs at home and with the way their power running game was humming, that looked to be all she wrote for FSU.

The Noles always fight till the end however, and EJ Manuel again led the Seminoles on a 9 play drive that ended with a QB keeper from one yard out to cut the lead to 7 going into the 4th quarter.

The Badgers used their run game to whittle the clock and pound their way down field to try and stretch the lead to 2 scores. The Seminole D stepped up however, forcing two huge sacks to push Wisconsin just out of field goal range and the Badgers punted away to pin FSU deep in their own territory.

After completing a couple passes FSU found themselves facing a 3rd and long with a winded Bert Reed looking on from the bench. Manuel didn't panic and burn a TO to get Reed back in the game, rather he found Greg Dent open for a 47 yard TD strike to knot the game at 38 with 4:46 left to play.

Wisconsin had plenty of time to drive down and get the go ahead points, but a sack on first down forced the Badgers in to throwing mode and on 3rd down Greg Reid picked off Curt Phillips and returned it down inside the 30 yard line.

From here FSU played it close to the vest running the ball looking to burn clock and scored a TD with 1:07 left. Wisconsin got the ball back with no timeouts but Phillips was sacked twice again and his 4th down attempt fell incomplete to seal the win for FSU.

Great game Tbuck that was awesome.

here are some key stats

FSU

Manuel 9/20 217 yards 3 tds no picks, 13 carries 117 yards 3 TDs
J Thomas 17 carries 95 yards
B Reed 4 catches 118 yards 2 TDS, 2 rushes 17 yards,

Wisconsin

C Phillips 14-23 188 yards 2 TDs 2 picks , 10 carries -20 yards 1 TD
J Clay 14 carries 172 yards 1 TD
J White 12 carries 77 yards , 85 yard punt return TD

Firetrucking A the one time I try to let you score on your last TD when i still had like 1:45 and 2 timeouts left is the one time my guys decide to actually play run defense. I was not happy because I backed everyone off and went into conservative zone coverage so they would stay back. good game though

What's up with the games? What's the deadline? I keep seeing only 4 of 10 users are done when I login, so I haven't played. Are they gonna get done? I need some activity around here.

Well remember, we actually only have 9 members; New Mexico State doesn't count. You should go ahead and enter the OD and check it out rather than just saying, "Well some other people haven't played so I'm not going to." We actually have 6 of 9 done, even though on entrance it says 5 of 10. And Farcas is gone until Tuesday so I'm going to put him on auto-pilot. That just leaves you and Joker left to play. I'm going to advance tonight regardless so hopefully you can get your game in by then. If not, I'm sorry but you've had 3 days to play. As far as action in here, it might help if we moved a little bit faster. Remember that when Rivals was extremely slow for a while, the activity was down a lot too. There is a very strong correlation between the two, so come on guys and play your games.

I will play my game after work tonight then. Please don't advance until after I'm done. It may be late, but I'll definitely get it in.

I'm working a basketball game tonight so I won't be able to advance on time anyways. Play your game with Clark tonight and then get this one in. I'll advance either early morning when I wake up or late tonight if I'm still up when you're done, which I probably will be.

Joker, you need to get your game in today/tonight. I would send you a text but I can't text Canada anymore or I get charged $.20 a text sent or received. Firetrucking gay T-Mobile.
