Preseason Recruiting Outlook
The Kansas Jayhawks look forward to a fruitful season in the recruiting arena. The Jayhawks' hope their recent 2008 Orange Bowl win will help to bring in some big time recruits to help push this program forward and establish a place at the top of the Big 12 North.
Re: Kansas Recruiting
The Jayhawks received their first commitment this season in 3-star cornerback, Antwon Arnold.
3* CB (#49) Antwon Arnold, Louisana - 6'0, 183
Tendency - Balanced
-- Arnold is a good cornerback who has good coverage skills. He also has fairly good awareness for a freshman and that will help him see some playing time early in his career. Arnold's main weakness is his lack of speed. Graded at a B-, Arnold will have trouble keeping up with the speed of the receivers in the Big 12 conference.
Projected - Redshirt first season, will see playing time as dime back in redshirt freshman season.
