Wisconsin is looking to have a tough year in recruiting with not many high caliber players interested, but enough where they can bring in a solid class. Their top 2 recruits they are going after are two FS which would be key as they are looking to transition to a 3-3-5 defense in the near future:

Brett McCray

Hit Power B

If Wisconsin is able to Nab both of these players it would go a long way into getting the players needed as both would be able to transition to SS with their tackle ratings

In recruiting News this week, Wisconsin nabs 6'5" WR John Richardson out of Franklin, KY. He is not the fastest WR but has great acceleration and can jump. He will be a great redzone target when he hits the field.

Projected Freshman Year: Redshirt so he can work on his hands, and his Redshirt freshman year, probably will be 3rd or 4th on the Depth chart, but will be placed on the outside when he is the game because of his size and jumping ability will be nice for jump balls in the redzone.

Wisconsin nabs 5 players this week highlighted by defensive backs Blair Miller and Carlos Gonzalez. Also signed was Tackle Danny Vincent, MLB Paul Rooney, and OLB Johnny Cason.
