#19 Penn St. dominates Minnesota 55-20 to take the Governor's Victory Bell.

Evan Royster came back after missing the last 2 games with a bruised shoulder and rushed for 185 yards and 3 td's. Silas Redd chipped in with 44 yards as the running game finally got going with 231 total yards on the ground. The balance the run game provided took pressure off of Matt McGloin and the passing attack and kept the Minnesota defense off balance all game. The game wasn't without some sloppy play by the Nittany Lions as they turned the ball over 3 times(2 fumbles, 1 INT) leading to all of the Golden Gophers 20pts. After a solid drive by Minnesota the PSU defense settled down in the red zone and held them to a FG but on the ensuing kick off Chaz Powell was stripped and the fumble was picked up by Minnesota and taken into the endzone for 6. Penn St. ended any threat of a comeback with 2 long TD drives to put the game away. Next up the Michigan Wolverines travel to Happy Valley to face the streaking Lions in a Big Ten rivalry game.
